He's wearing a hole
in the soles of his shoes,
She's breaking a hole
in the soul of her heart,
And neither one can tell.
All alone, they wander around,
Wondering what's going on.
He's running out
of shoes to walk,
She's running out
of love to give,
And they still don't know.

To Whome it Shall Concern
So here I am, once again.
I've listened to your heart,
And I'll give up the past.
I'll tear down the wall,
And I'll hand you the sword.
Cut me if you want to.
But know that I'm still here,
And I've always been your brother.
I've always cared for you.
But not the you that I see
Everyday, and everyday.
Just the you I see so rarely.
So I'll sing for you,
These words of reckoning.
Since you want to be let in.
So let the past be broken,
And the future spoken.
We'll move towards the light.
When my heart lies bleeding,
Then I know I gave my trust in vain,
But today I hope that you are what you say.
So heres it all for you,
And

You'll do whatever you want too,
And here I am, listening to you.
How do you expect me to believe?
Well I believe, but not in you.
And I have trust but not for true.
What else did you think about,
As you lied right to my face?
And then you want my grace...
And cry when I won't shout.
So who am I to give a damn?
You want the magic words,
To make this thing alright.
But when will I believe today?
How am I to know the truth,
When all the time you lie to me?
So here I am again, all alone,
With just my broken heart.
It's been torn to much by you.
Show me why I should love you,
And maybe then I'll say I do.
For once in my lifeti
Today is the day of boxes.
I packed up all the pain,
And all the rage.
I stuck them in a box,
A very large box.
For a long while, I kept at it.
Shoving things into
The box.
I put the people,
The fame,
The wealth
And everything into the box.
Everything that wasn't me,
It had to go.
So I placed it into the box.
Sure enough,
It all was gone.
Then I saw that I was alone.
Everything was inside the box.
I was in the world,
Lonely and afraid.
But then I realized that I'd
Lost my vision.
They weren't in a box.
I had built the box around myself.
The memories fade,
And I don't know why.
The beauty of the grace
Which you've bestowed on me,
It's all gone in a moment
Right there when you leave.
And so I'm beggin you,
I'm beggin you.
Please return to me.
Cause it means the world,
It means the world,
The world, the world.
What you do for me,
And who you are.
Just the way you're there
Every time I feel like crying
You're the one who holds me high
So won't you just once more
Give me a heart to lean on
Cause I cannot, no cannot
Hold it on my own.
I remember when...
When the stars were shining
Bright lights in the sky.
I remember when...
When even time was slower,
And the rain was never there.
I remember you...
On that night so long ago,
Glancing up across the sky
I remember you...
You're the one who looked at me,
And I saw it in your eyes.
Do you remember me?
Do you remember me?
Cause I...
Remember. You.
Black wings flap beneath the skies
As the darkness fades, and summer comes
The drums are rolling,
And the tide is going out.
It's time again for the night to fly
Once more with the bright of day.
The black winged angels, with the white,
Sing forth their song again.
Twice the bell has rung again,
Thrice to ring before the end,
For bright the black wing's flight
As it races 'cross the bright lit skies.
You're more than the sun
Shining bright on the sky
Swimming deeper and deeper
Living in my memories
You are silent with words
That you've spoken aloud,
And you're here in the night
Shining bright with the moon
You've left me alone
But you're really still here
Though I cannot feel it
I've felt it before
This silence is golden
And echoes with music
That should not be heard
But will not be empty
