Dear justagirlDear Justagirl,
I've been meaning to write this to you for quite some time. I've always wished that I could make you see just who you really are. But you never listen. So maybe you'll hear me in this letter to who you claim to be.

You're not just any girl. Not at all. Your silence brings beauty to the words of others. Your words crack open the things left unsaid, and shine light on all the places few dare look. You have a way about you that whispers of a majesty, and yet you always hold others up beyond yourself.

On the moonbright windowsill,
with delicate lace-tendrils
twined against her tender frame.
Whispers of moonlight
float across her eyes,
smothering the sunset
amidst her frosted gaze.

She hears the sound
Of sundown and sunrise,
amidst the colors in
her tired eyes.
ballerinas pirouette their illusions
to nature's lightening strike,
beneath her ebony, shadow sky,
with shooting stars spelling dreams.

Dreams of words and colors,
and whispers of wonder.
with hollow gems of tear-water
wrapping around her cheekbone.
her dreams are slipping away.

Here We AreAnd here I stand again,
whispering words I know
that she will never hear:

It's drowned out by a
shriveling darkness of words
so harsh and broken.

When I speak of beauty,
she hears shouts of emptiness.

When I whisper love,
she only finds hatred

Words, Words, WordsWords, words, words..
What a wonderful weapon,
Says the little devil
Floating beside our shoulders.

What are these bones?
They're not quite brittle
Won't they ever hurt enough

But hearts, warm hearts
Now those, those are
Easy to break, and twist,
And tear so that
Ripe blood drips everywhere.

It is with words that we are broken,
And with anger that we shatter.

No amount of broken bones
Could ever hurt like
A broken heart

These praises in my heart I bring.
Above me, I can glance the sky,
Where angels praise the Lord on high.

Like sweet Heaven's open door.

As they split it all apart.

Shattered, here I sit,
I even almost try to quit.
Friends around me change my mind
These ties are strong, they seem to bind.

I cannot leave Thee
Though it shall try me
This love is far to strong
Nothing ever can go wrong.

For you are the Lord of me
Nothing I have can equal Thee.
So, shall I praise You to the end?
Or stand up from bended knee?

I imagined me with youeven if i deserved a happy ending, yours is far more beautiful than i could ever have.

and though i'd love you to be my warm sunshine, i know that i could never hold on to you.

so i guess that means all i've got left are these forgetfuls to remember

and ever pleasing to the ear
are turned to Poison
in the whispers of
Hatred and Despair

Smack went the Hammer,
As Thunk went the Nail.
It was my hand, your hand, Our hands
That drove it home.

Reasonsi still remember quiet nights,
and all the silly fights:
who should share a secret first?

wasted time deciding
where to go and what to do.
starlight cuddles,
whispered struggles,
and sunset puddles.

i still remember
all those reasons i wish i could forget.

Even the...Even the wrong words seem to rhyme.
Even the right way is a crime.
Even the darkness sounds a chime.
Even the circles look like lines.
Even the sweet things taste like limes.
Even the hurting seem so fine.
Even the thirsty pay a dime.
Even the hungry cannot dine.
Even the water tastes like brine.
Even the acid looks like wine.
Even the boots can't make the climb.
Even the freedom seems to bind.
Even my thoughts can't stop my mind.
Even my faith shall fail sometimes.

Maybe I'm Dreamingmaybe i'm dreaming,
but if i'm dreaming of you
then why should i care?

Merely the thoughts of
His intricate and complex plan.
He is glorious, amazing.
He fills all of existence,

Tell yourself you'll wait until tomorrow,
The yesterday you never knew.
Let the skies wash away in loneliness,
And the air breathe with your heart.
Remember tomorrow as you move
Through the days gone by,
And dance with the bitter joy
That comes when yesterday was tomorrow.

Today is the moment,
Eternity stretched across
The singularity of time.
It's never ceasing, and ever present,
Yet always never here.
Fleeting faster than the light,
And dancing more joyously
Than we ever could.

So...
Tell yourself you'll wait until tomorrow,
The yesterday you never knew.
