Literature Text

Words unspoken create the cliff of silence.
Words left unsaid widen the gap between us,
We are now farther apart than star to star.
Words thought, but never said.

The unspoken word is the tragedy of men.
None will tell, for fear of their own spine.
You know the secret, but you cannot help me now.
These words are far too dangerous to say.

The distance grows ever too quick,
Spreading us farther and farther away.
Soon enough, and I cannot speak
For we stayed too silent and know not ourselves.

The fragile bridges we try to make
We build so frail and they easily break.
The words unspoken became the knife
As you refused to tell me, and keep my on track.
This is a poem inspired by a recent deviation by

Thanks, how ever backhandedly for that inspiration.
