Literature Text

Beside the fountain, gurgling loud
Out of the way, I'm standing proud
Beyond, I see the heavy rain
From which comes the summer's bane
Amid the noise, the lightning dooms
Afterwards, the thunder booms.
Up above I see the stars
Like the heaven's burning scars
Down below the beauty flies
Between the songbird's empty cries
This is what's called a "prepositional poem". This poem always starts each line with a preposition. I hope you enjoy it. I wrote this sort of about a time I was standing in the rain.
