TW Chapter 1 - Endless BridgeThe fire on the hearth flickered as if a wind blew and then died.  Smoke hissed up from the hot coals for a moment, until they dissipated into the air.  The floor was bereft of belongings, and swept clean.  A bed stood in a far corner, opposite the fireplace.  A small table rested next to the bed, with few belongings on it.  The most prominent was a leather sheathed dagger.  A young boy, Andar, lay sleeping beneath several thick woolen blankets.  The dull sound of rain could be heard relentlessly pounding on the stone roof.

Andar awoke suddenly, gasping for breath.  It felt as though someone had shoved ice down his shirt.  A cold wind seemed
TW Prologue - Gates of TimeMiranda awoke in twilight, surrounded by evergreen trees.  She lay still beneath a canopy of trees, her black hair framing her face.  The tattered clothes that covered her seemed out of place with her fair face.  Her breath came slowly, and her heart beat rapidly.  She tried to remember where she'd been last, but it was like wading into knee deep mud.  Her memory was ethereal as fog, blown about by what seemed a stormy tempest.  She struggled in vain to remember, but nothing came.  Eventually, trickles of pictures and images came slowly fading in and out of her mind.  At once, her mind was overpowered by a need for something.  She knew it was
RebellionWhat if they've shown me the truth?
Bout this rebellion your living
I'm living my life for her
So what if you did for me that?
What should I do?

I don't know the answer
I know everything but this

So what if you did tell me that?
What should I say?
Well I think I'd say no
Still...

I don't know the answers
I know nothing at all

So now that I've broken your heart
How should I answer you?

I don't know the answers
I know everything else but me

I believe in happy endings
For everyone but me
It seems a curseI stand a mile tall, and feel the whispers of the wind
They speak in silent melody to my thirsty soul.
The air I breath is growing thin, empty
Every second passed with a blurring line
Memories fade away, the future calls and I will go
Lift me down, and turn around,
Envious of you as you are of me.
You weren't thereThe air grew thick as she approached
My mind stirred in dark mists
As the terror came upon me.
I couldn't stand it, but could do nothing.
Left alone and worthless, I am lost
She begins to act, ruthlessly cutting away
Every fiber of self-worth is torn away,
Leaving heaps of ash behind in agony.
Though  she knows it not, she is killing me.
Slowly, thought it may be, she is destruction.
Dark whispers of a blackened heart speak
They cry out, and yearn to me.
They say fight back, they say destroy...

Then at times I may move to action
I strike, but slow.  Too late, and she counters.
Again my worth is stripped away

Mountains

I'm standing in the valley
Up around me are the mountains
Seated there like thrones

My faith is so small
That I can't seem to move em
They stay rock solid..

But why can't I now?
Is it my faith thats wrong?
Or is it that they belong?

Still, so stuck am I...
Staring at the mountains
That I can't see your grace

For the train of your robe
Is filling the heavens
And you are seated on your throne...
