Jesus, the Prophet
He comes with words of
Conviction, and speaks
Truth with authority,
Not as one who
Speaks for God,
Rather, one who
Speaks as God.
He knows the truth,
And His voice stretches
Beyond the depth
Of hardened stony
Hearts like mine.
Jesus, the Priest
As a servant, He entered
The world, with the power
To give us the strength
To do that which, alone
Is impossible. He enables
Our hearts to love Him,
And comes along side.
With a strong hand,
He holds us up, and
It is to Him that I will run.
He is the one who
Would surrender all
Even his life
That we might find Him.
Jesus, the King
He holds the heavens
In His hand, and the earth
Is His footstool.
On His throne, He remembers
Us, and knows our pains.
Yet everything we are, and have
Is surrendered to His
Authority, and power.
There can be no mistake
Of the one who we
Are held accountable in the end.
Yet by grace, my King
Has given mercy.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
